Fried halva with oatmeal crust and pomegranate syrup

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 gr halva cut in strips
  • 100 gr oatmeal flakes
  • 2 egg whites, beaten well
  • 30 gr corn flour
  • 300 gr pomegranate syrup
  • Sunflower oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the halva in the freezer for 30 minutes. Take it out, beat well 2 egg whites, cover the halva in corn flour, dip it in the egg whites and then in the oatmeal flakes so that they become attached. Fry it in very hot oil. To serve, pour the pomegranate syrup over the halva.
